It's All About Relationships

At Bridgepoint Church we believe that the deeper our relationship with God the wider the impact in our world. That is why we are committed to providing environments to answer the question, 'How can I go deeper?' That commitment is a driving force behind our nursery ministries. We provide safe, quiet, gentle care so that parents can have the opportunity to go deeper in their relationships with the Lord and others in our services. We also take the opportunity to teach babies through fun impactful mini lessons, playtime, and reading to them. It is our hope that you and your child will experience the full depth, width, and height of God's love here at Bridgepoint Church.

What to Bring

When packing a diaper bag please include the following items:

1. Two or three disposable diapers (no cloth diapers please).
2. Pacifier or other items, should your child need it for security.
3. A complete change of clothes.
4. A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water (please pre-mix and label). 

Check-In/Out

At the time of check-in a name badge will be placed on your child which will include the child's name, a three digit/letter code, allergies, and cell phone number. You will receive a sticker and it includes two identical three digit/letter codes which match your child's name badge code. If we need you to return to the nursery during the worship service, your code will appear on the screen in the auditorium. Your sticker/code is your ticket to your child. When you return to pick up your child, we will verify the code on your sticker to the sticker your child is wearing. A child will not be released to anyone without presenting the assigned sticker.

Children in the Adult Service

We understand that there are some circumstances where you as a parent feel more comfortable being with your child during the services. In these circumstances we would like to direct you to our family viewing room or our nursing mother's room (for women only). Both of these areas will give you the privacy you need to take care of your child and still participate in the service.

Cleaning Policy

At Babies Rock we realize it is a privilege to take care of your child and we desire to provide the cleanest environment possible. In order to do that we regularly do the following:

1. Have the carpets professionally cleaned.
2. Disinfect the toys and surfaces after each worship service or event.
3. Clean and sanitize all bottles, cups, and eating surfaces after each use.
4. Disinfect all changing areas after each use.

When Should You Keep Your Child Home

We strive to keep our nurseries clean and safe. In order to do this please do not bring your child into the nursery with any of the following symptoms.

1. Fever of 100 degrees or above
2. Coughing or runny nose (clear is teething, yellow is infection)
3. Sneezing due to cold
4. Questionable rashes
5. Diarrhea
6. Red, watery eyes

Child Dedication

At Bridgepoint we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. God has given you as parent or caregiver a tremendous responsibility and we as a church want to partner with you. It is our goal to do this from the very beginning. That is why we are excited to tell you about our child dedication. This special time includes a private dedication for friends and family as well as a public dedication for the church. It will challenge you to get a vision for who God is calling your child to be and it will help you establish some practices to help your child live the story God has written for them. Volunteer

We hope this information helps you understand what to expect when you bring your child to the Babies Rock Nursery. The best way to understand what happens is to volunteer! As Bridgepoint continues to grow, there is a constant need for more caregivers. If you are not already volunteering for another ministry, please consider this a personal invitation to assist with the Babies Rock Nursery (pursuant to a background check).
