Join Us For Our Good Friday Service

Good Friday is one of the most solemn and significant days in Christianity, marking the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. It is a time of deep reflection on His sacrifice, as we believe that Jesus willingly endured suffering and death to pay the price for humanity’s sins. His crucifixion was not just an execution—it was an act of love, mercy, and redemption. Through His death, we believe that Jesus took on the weight of sin, making a way for forgiveness and reconciliation with God.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV), “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

This prophecy, written centuries before Jesus, is a foreshadowing of His suffering and the redemption He would bring. Good Friday is a day to remember that while sin and darkness seemed to win, God’s plan for salvation was unfolding.

Though Good Friday is a day of mourning and reflection, it is not the end of the story. We look forward to Easter Sunday, when Jesus rose from the grave, defeating death and proving that His sacrifice was victorious. His resurrection gives believers the assurance of eternal life and the hope that no matter how dark things may seem, God’s love always prevails. Good Friday reminds us of the cost of grace, but Easter celebrates the triumph of that grace.

Let’s gather in worship and gratitude as we prepare our hearts for Easter.
